~The Sea Flier, Chapter Six~

"Hey Beanie!" somebody shouted, "You ready for that tour yet?"    Peter looked at where the sound was coming from and he saw Slightly approaching him and Curly.    "Yeah, alright." Peter responded quietly. He was still deep in thought about his conversation with Curly about the sailors and his sudden inclination to be one.    "Looks like Curly's already showed you around. I told him to wait to show you the walls closer up. It's already getting dark so don't you dare wander off, dingus." Slightly said as he turned and started jogging off. Peter looked at Curly and shrugged and turned and ran to catch up with the other. People were already laying down to fall asleep, so he had to jump over a few people and weave around some hammocks. Slightly didn't slow down and he was heading straight to the giant sand walls.    Once they reached the walls, Slightly headed towards one of the towers. They headed up in a spiral staircase. Pet...

~The Sea Flier, Chapter Five~

Peter sat bruised against that tree. It wasn't a big deal, though. He felt like he had been punched before. He had just let James do what he wanted until he was satisfied. There must be consequences for violence or something, because he held back a lot.    He saw Curly running over the hill and he looked worried. "Peter! Are you alright, Peter? What happened?"    "It was James. It's fine, I'm good. He just wanted to let me know that he hates me. That's all."    "I'm sorry bro." Curly said after a few seconds.    Peter grinned.    "What?" Curly asked.    "I gave him a wet willy when he was awkwardly close to my face." Peter answered. He started laughing and before the minute passed, Curly and Peter were full on crying. They decided that they would make it their secret mission to humiliate James again.    Peter and Curly talked for a long while walking all along beautiful paths through the island. H...

~The Sea Flier, Chapter Four~

Peter sat alone for quite a while thinking about everything so far. He thought to the very beginning, which was just the day before, and went over every piece of time that went by until the present moment. He still could not bring himself to believe that he just woke up in this place called Forever Land with a bunch of dudes who call themselves Lost Boys and that there are creepy things called pirates that can change your life forever in a very creepy way from just a shot.     "Brutal, huh?" a voice from behind him said.     Surprised at first, and thinking that someone could read his thoughts, he turned around to see Curly.     "What do you mean?" asked Peter nervously.     "James and the way he reacts to things. Don't worry, he's rude to everyone." replied the boy. Peter was relieved.     "Oh yeah.. But it seems like he really had some personal thing against me. He had seen me in his, um, ...

~The Sea Flier, Chapter Three~

Peter woke up very early the next morning to a small tickle on his shoulder. He sat up quickly and started waving his hands to rid of the bug-like things that were landing on his body. He looked a little closer at one and discovered that it was bigger than he thought and had blue eyes. Not blue eyes like a baby, but robotic blue eyes.    "Called a parrot bot," Curly answered. Peter did not see him wake, but the recent commotion probably woke him up. Peter was surprised that he didn't wake up through the night at all. He expected to have a restless sleep, but he was so drained.    "They're nasty creatures. We don't know exactly where they came from, but they are pretty harmless. Unless you try to touch them. Doesn't explain why... why the muds land on you all the time."     Now that the sun was up, Peter could see Curly a little bit better. He noticed that when he used some of the other Lost Boy's slang, he stuttered the slightest bit. ...

~The Sea Flier, Chapter Two~

Peter's legs cramped from being inside the chest for so long. He didn't know how long he was in there, but it felt like he had lived in there for a year. His neck had a pain right down the middle and his eyes were still adjusting. His stomach had a mix of throw up and butterflies in it, which probably sucked for the butterflies because he could tell this puke was no bueno.     Oh, I know a small bit of Spanish! Peter thought and immediately regretted. This was no time for joking. His brain was so scattered at the moment, it took him quite a while to realize the boys were staring at him again. This time, there were many more. They must have collected when he was zoned out. He heard the phrase "beanie" over and over in little whispers and he wasn't exactly sure what they meant.    He looked around at his surroundings. Behind him was the sea. It looked so vast and could not sea anything for as far as he looked. In front of him, though, was an island. He s...

~The Sea Flier, Chapter One~

He began his new life curled in a ball in a sandy and damp space. There were things clumped up around him, but he could barely breathe and he couldn't move at all.    His rough feet against the sand; he felt everything all moving at one time and the whole space shaking. His head bumped the top which shook sand everywhere in the tiny space and made his hair full of sand and his eyes stung as the grains hit all over his face. He curled as hard as he could and closed his eyes tight just waiting for something else to happen.    It was completely and utterly silent but when he focused as hard as he could, he thought he could hear a rushing sound like waves over him. The space was burning hot, but at the same time cooling. He felt a sun burn on his shoulders which stung even more, thanks to the sand. He didn't know what else to do, so he thought through everything he knew.     My name is Peter, he thought    That... that was the only th...

Sneak Peak

When Peter wakes up in the chest, the only thing he can remember is his first name. He has no recollection of his parents, his home, or how he got where he is. His memory is blank.     But he's not alone. When the chest hatch opens, Peter finds himself surrounded by kids who welcome him to Forever Land, a large expanse enclosed by sand walls.     Just like Peter, the Lost Boys don't know why or how they got to Forever Land. All they know is that every morning, for as long as anyone can remember, the sand doors to the Sea that surrounds them have opened. Every night, for just as long, they've closed tight. Every thirty days a new boy is delivered in the chest. And no one want to be stuck in the Sea after dark.     The Lost Boys were expecting Peter's arrival. But the next day, a girl is sent up- the first girl ever to arrive in Forever Land. And more surprising yet is the message she delivers. The Lost Boys have always been convince...
