Hey listen There's stuff going on We both know its true.  We also know that God follows through. This is just a day A small piece of the rope. We know it will be ok If we have faith and hope. He keeps his promises Look at the rainbow. Life is beautiful And don't say although.  Yes we go through things And have tough days But in the grand picture We see God's ways.  He makes things turn Out for good.  So I'll try to make my decisions The way Jesus would.  Not being anxious But having prayer and petition.  Asking Him for advice In every situation. You have your video games I have my God You have your addictions I have my God I have promises From my God He will be with me wherever I go Our God Tells me to be strong  Our God Tells me to be courageous Our God Tells me that I have nothing to fear Our God

Suffering leads to endurance which leads to character. 

I have a friend who I miss. Tragedy tries to define her But she is strong.  She has transformed my life And I would not be who I am Without her. Be safe. Be strong.  Be His light in that darkness.  I like friends like that. 

I have a friend Who would stick with me to the end His hair white as snow Taller than my 6'0 He kind of acts like Elf But that's what makes him him He takes pride and being himself A room with C is never dim!  He has 2 dogs, no cats.  I like friends like that! ;) 

A writer. What does that mean? Scratches on paper and words on a screen? Bodies of information, learning about rotation, or history of nations. I'm just a creative teen. 

After a while I start to smile I realize reality Texas without fatality We have successfully made it To Amarillo.  I'll be home soon. :)

Death has been beaten The grave has been conquered Jesus is risen Life ever after I could say the end here, but it really isn't. This isn't the end to my story. God has a whole life planned out for me and if I am living for him then I could write a new chapter everyday. Write your story. You choose. Do you want to write a story about a terrible life wasted? Don't make this your the end. 

The boy was on a vacation. It was so nice where he was staying in the mountains and he wanted to stay there forever. Except for one thing: people back home. 

My go to place for wifi. It's nice. And I like frapachinos. 

He woke up early, exicted for the day. He could hardly sleep! He went down early for morning grub. Eggs were prepared for them. He had the first time of silence and reflection in a long time. After that, the large room with the singing red bearded man was filled and used the same as the day before. This time, an older man spoke. He had grey hair and had a name similar to the boys father. The boy then met with a smaller group that would be his "team" for the week. They played strange games that the boy did not understand, but he was naturally good at them. This boy has skill. Speaking of skills, he has drawing skills and he drew a beautiful tree on the long trip to the destination. Also speaking of drawing skills, his team called themselves the ludacris ligers. They are pretty much his favorite animal. These ligers won this friendly competition of strange games. They were naturally very hungry, not Hungary because this team does not make up a country, anyway, they ate. They at...

Once there was a boy.  He had to go for a while. He went with a large group of people traveling north. The trip took many days and many nights. They stopped twice. Once to refresh at a local spring. The second was at the large market in town. They continued on and finally arrived at their destination. The boy found his lodging, then went with the rest of the group. They arrived at a large, white tent. Without knowing why, they waited. And waited. Finally the doors were opened and all flooded in. A man with a red beard led the large group in a series of hymns. These hymns were meaningful to the group and this boy joined. These hymns always have a way of bringing him closer. After the man with the red beard, a man with long, waving, brown hair came and spoke words. These words were not spoken from him. They were spoken from what the boy got closer to. It was a wonder and brought this boy even closer. After a late night, this boy felt a sense of relief. He went back to his lodging and...

Are terrible. 22 hours of torture. Maybe by the last day of Journey I'll decide if it was worth it or not. ;) 

I have a friend who is very dear to me. He is crazy beyond compare and that's what makes him unique.  He's gone through so much and it made him much wiser. He would take the bullet for me and is always there when I need him. I will always love him like a brother and so will my dog Ajax. I like friends like that.

I wear skinny jeans and snap backs He wears suits and ties I have writing on my backpack He carries a briefcase I barely get the A He doesn't even try I sit around my drums all day He works on trigonometry I'm almost sixteen with no permit He drives himself everywhere He looks sharp and determined I grow out my hair I know he'll turn out great He will have an amazing job Can I even relate? Lance was a small boy who lived in a small town. He had small parents and a small brother. He ate small food and drank small drinks. He had a small cat. He had a small dog. He had a small ferret. He had a small job in a small building. Often Lance would ride his small bicycle into the small town to the small building where he worked. He rode on small roads made of small rocks. The roads were very dry because of the small amount of rain that came. The rain drops that came were very small. Above the town were small clouds. Above the small clouds were small planes. Above the small planes was a small space. The space was so small that the smallest of smaller things in the small town would not look small next to the small space. Lance was determined to get to that small space. Lance had a small dream of doing something that seemed very small. Small enough that he did not tell anyone. I have a friend who I can't stop thinking about. I don't know why. This friend understands me. Sees past my occasional fake smiles. Makes me laugh more than anyone else. Amazes me with godliness. Encourages me. Makes me a better person. Understands all my references. I like friends like that.

I wonder through a thick forest. The wind is streaming through the pine trees. I am lost. I think I know where I am going but I don't read the map. I don't read it because I have read it so many times before gaining no new knowledge. Twice a week I feel like I have found a path but it fades quickly. Both times I hear the same thing. Read the map. I glance at it and it all makes sense. The path fades and I don't understand the map again. The map tells me how to ask for directions but I always forget when it is needed. Somehow by taking an Epic Trek, i found myself. After a year, I really need this Journey.

Some people just stand out Sometimes it's the quiet ones. It's not about how much you talk Or about what you wear Or all the cool things you do with your hair. What stands out to me Is called personality. I like to look on the inside If in their heart He abides If the good news is something you have to share I don't really care what I see there Looking on the outside. Some people are beautifuller not fuller but more beautiful. Because they are made in His image And don't try to change it.

The sorry truth comes out. We can't all stay young. Maybe it's just someone and I who wish that. Maybe everyone else wants to grow up and move out and get a job. Not us. But since we have no choice, my choice is to make these years valuable. You are going into your first year in highschool. It will go by fast. Faster than we know. Make these years valuable. We should be intentional in our friendships. We all found what we lack tonight in Christ. We prayed specifically that God whould help us with that struggle. If it's that you lack confidence, ask God to give you some so you can go out and talk to people and share Christ with them. I have seen introverts share Christ. But God works through her. And not anyone can do it. Christ alone can. He will work through you, you just have to let him and find the things you lack in you. To be honest I have a hard time letting God guide my life. I try to solve problems on my own. But if I find the strength to let God handel situations, ...
