I guess it was five years ago
The day he was born
Just a regular Thursday
It was just the norm

Yes, Mom was pregnant
But did I expect a baby?
I don't know why
No, not really

But he came, despite
My lack of preparation
And now today
There is celebration

Caleb is the birthday boy
He has reminded us hundreds of times
And now I am thinking
Man, time passes by
