My poetry is inspired
By a man who loved the Lord
Turned away from his sin
And he lead the church
He had a personal relationship
With Jesus Christ
And it made him happy
To take his advice
What I tell you and everyone else
Over and over again
Is that if you find pleasure from the Lord
You will always have a friend
You will have someone to talk to
Someone to comfort you
He will wipe away all your tears
And cut down your fears
If you look to this world for happiness
It will kill you
If you look to Jesus to define your life
It will instill in you
The strength and confidence
To always take on Satan's arrows
